Drake Throws A Narcos Themed Party On His 35th Birthday

Drake celebrates his 35th birthday with a “Cocaine Cowboys” theme party.

Drake turns 35 today, and the “Certified Lover Boy” celebrates the occasion with a Cocaine Cowboys theme party. The birthday bash was held at Goya Studios in Hollywood, which featured several high-profile guests. The star-studded party featured Offset, Kawhi Leonard, Future, Chris Brown, J. Cole, French Montana, Jack Harlow, 24kGoldn and more. Drizzy’s father Dennis Graham was also in attendance.

For the party, the Toronto rap star dressed up as a cowboy, wearing a leather fringe jacket over a denim shirt, cowboy hat and boots. The party was inspired by Netflix’S Billy Corben directed Docu-series “Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami”, a true story of two childhood friends who go from being high school dropouts to being the most powerful drug kingpins in Miami.

Someone can be heard shouting, “Cocaine Cowboys is here, baby,” while showing off a massive piece of artwork that merges the face of a well-known drug dealer with Champagne Papi as Mariachi music plays faintly in the background in a video posted to the @2cool2bl0g Instagram account.

The camera then pans up to Drake, who is dressed in full cowboy garb, including spurs on his boots. “Look at my kid,” the cameraman exclaims, turning around to show off the fringe on his suede jacket while humbly lifting his hat.

Drizzy invited his pals to dress up as well, however, some participants appear to be reserving their outrageous clothes for next week’s Halloween celebrations. Larsa Pippen, Jack Harlow, Offset, Kawhi Leonard, and Future were among the guests, and a slew of other celebrities have also wished the 35-year-old a happy birthday on Instagram.

The massive cake at the party was themed after popular drug dealer Pablo Escobar. Drake also received birthday love from DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Giveon, French Montana, Boi1da and more on Instagram.

If you’re unfamiliar with the docu-series, it’s a six-part documentary that explores the incredible story of Willy Falcone and Sal Magluta, two of Miami’s most notorious cocaine traffickers. Like many of their other real crime series, it was a tremendous hit on the streaming service.

For the occasion, Drizzy was given some exquisite gifts, including a unique diamond-encrusted chain from Young Thug. The enormous double-sided pendant, created by renowned jeweller Elliot Eliantte, contains a photo of Aubrey cradling his baby Adonis on one side and a glittering OVO owl on the other.

A clip went viral on Twitter captioned “not them beating up Sky outside Drake’s party.” A lady turns towards Sky and screams, “I genuinely stepped behind her and she shoved me,” as the footage shows Sky being lifted off the concrete by an unknown male. Sky was uncharacteristically silent in answer, brushing herself down and going away. After that, the bulk of the footage is inaudible, but it’s clear that there was an intense altercation immediately before Sky was lifted up from the pavement.

Fellow rapper Future also gave him a Rolls Royce, but not just any Rolls Royce: it’s the identical automobile that the Toronto star used to rent more than a decade ago before he became famous. “Back in 2007 we used to finesse this Rolls Royce Phantom rental to convince people in the city we were destined to make it. I used to scrape together 5k a month somehow to keep up appearances,”

Champagne Papi wrote in the caption of an Instagram post showing himself alongside the vehicle in question on the night in question, as well as some old footage from what could have been one of his first times inside the then-rental.
