Drake continues his live show at the Apollo Theater in New York City, and he brought out surprise guest Lil Uzi Vert. The Philadelphia rapper performed his recently released single “Just Wanna Rock”.

After the performance from Lil Uzi, Drake shows love for the rapper for always checking on him. “I love this guy so much,” he said. “Before you go, I wanna say, this guy right here, anytime in life I feel down or whatever it is, I always gets a message from him, checkin in, never asking for nothing, just checking in. I just wanna let you [the audience] know, if you ever wanna go far in life, you gotta check in on your people. Not only you’re one of the greatest artist of this time, I am so excited to exist at the same time as you, how genius you are. This guy checks up on me, he’s a real one, make some noise for Uzi.”

The preceding evening, Drake put on a performance where he sang 42 songs and had Dipset as a surprise guest. He also hinted at the possibility of working on a new album for his fans. “I appreciate all of those people that stick by me.… but I deeply appreciate everybody for continuing to support us,” he said. “I’ve thought about a bunch of things in life, but at this moment in time none of those things are stopping making music for you, so I’ll be here for you for a little bit at least. And I hope I can strike up more emotions for you, maybe this year. I might get bored and make another one, who knows!”

During the first day of his show, Drizzy brought out Dipset and 21 Savage and also performed a set of over 40 of his top songs. “These guys right here from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different… all the way in Canada,” he said about Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey.
