Drake Pens Heartfelt Tribute On Takeoff's Death Rest Easy Space Man

The Migos rapper was shot and killed at 28.

It’s a sad day for the hip-hop community as another rapper lost his life. Takeoff died at the age of 28 as he was shot and killed in Houston. According to reports, the Migos rapper was playing dice at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston with Quavo, when an altercation happened and someone opened fire and shot the rapper.

The 1/3 of the Atlanta trio Migos was the most loved artist among the three rappers, and the community is remembering the rapper on the tragic incident. Drake took to his social media to share a heartfelt tribute for Takeoff. “I got the best memories of all of us seeing the world together and bringing light to every city we touch. That’s what I’ll focus on for now [Sad Emoji] rest easy space man Takeoff,” he wrote.

The Quality control label also put out a statement after the rapper’s tragic death. “It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of out beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff” the statement began. “Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated. Please respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this monumental loss.”

Busta Rhymes also put out a long tribute message for his love for the Migos trio. “It took a lot of time today and a lot of thoughts to try to figure where to start with this today,” he wrote. “There is no perspective that is the right perspective to look at things from when you experience the loss of life, especially when you love the life of people we loose. This has completely shattered me because of my love for @yrntakeoff @quavohuncho @offsetyrn @qcmceo_p @coachk44 and the whole @migos & @qualitycontrolmusic families, friends and movements. I can’t find the words that will be right enough to ease this pain because none can possibly imagine what they feel right now. Sending love and light to all of you and deepest condolences.
