Drake Shows Love For Fabolous Wouldn't Be Anywhere Without This Guy

Drake gives Fabolous his flowers on Instagram.

Drake shows love for Fabolous, as he praised the rapper and called him one of his major influences. The Toronto hitmaker posted a throwback picture of the Brooklyn emcee with some praise on his IG Story.

“Wouldn’t be anywhere without this guy real shit @myfabolouslife,” he wrote with the picture of young Fabolous in New Jersey Nets NBA jersey, with a white baggy t-shirt along with a durag and a cap. “Was really just taking in how much you influenced everything for me,” he added. The rapper also shared more pictures of the rapper and the cover of Smack DVD magazine from 2005.

Previously, Drizzy paid homage to Fab during his 2000s-themed 32nd birthday party in 2018, as he recreated his throwback look wearing Blue Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers jersey with bandana over the cap.

Drake and Fabolous have worked together in the past on a remix of Fabolous’ “Throw It in the Bag” in 2009 and Chris Brown’s “Deuces (Remix)” in 2010. In addition to Fabolous, Drake also expressed admiration for another group from the 2000s era, 112. “Also wouldn’t be s**t without this,” posted a photo of the cover art of R&B group’s 1996 debut album and included a caption with it.
