Drake's Honestly, Nevermind Album Is Now RIAA Certified Platinum

Drake earns another RIAA milestone with “Honestly, Nevermind”.

Drake continues earning new accolades as the rapper’s seventh studio album “Honestly, Nevermind” goes platinum. The project earns the RIAA platinum status after moving 1,000,000 equivalent units in the USA.

This is the Toronto rapper’s ninth project to be certified platinum or above. The album’s single “Jimmy Cooks” with 21 Savage is 3x Platinum, while “Sticky” is also certified platinum.

The project was released last year and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 moving 204,000 equivalent album units in the first week. The project was streamed 213.9m times in its opening week on the music streaming platform Spotify. It also earned the biggest-ever opening week for a dance album, the Toronto rap star’s 4th biggest opening week and the 31st biggest opening ever.

Drake is prepping the release of his new album “For All The Dogs“, which is reportedly dropping really soon. “I kinda got a chance today to listen to my album in full, I’m very excited to give it to you,” he said. “I hope you’re excited for it too. It’s coming real soon. It’ll belong to you very shortly.”
