Drake Delays The Release of His New Album Certified Lover Boy

Drake’s new album has been pushed back.

Drake is supposed to release his new highly anticipated album “Certified Lover Boy” this month as it was announced in October through a trailer. But now the Canadian rap star has announced that the album has been pushed back as he’s recovering from his surgery and rehab.

He took to his IG to share the news via story. He wrote, “I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery. I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLD won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.

Drake’s first full-length release since Dark Lane Demo Tapes in 2020 will be Certified Lover Boy. The upcoming album is believed to be shorter than his last album, Scorpion, and will feature the previously released tune “Laugh Now Cry Later” with Lil Durk (2018).
