Dr. Dre To Drop New Music With GTA Online The Contract Game

Dr. Dre appears in the “GTA Online: The Contract” trailer, confirms new music.

It was previously hinted that Dr. Dre will drop new music for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game, and the news was also confirmed by his fellow rapper Snoop Dogg. “I do know Dre’s in the studio,” he said. “I do know he’s making great f**king music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.” However, the Rockstar Games representative declined the comment, and the company hasn’t announced a new entry in the GTA Series.

But now, the Rockstar Games has released a trailer for a new story for GTA Online which features Franklin Clinton and Friends. Along with the trailer, they also confirmed that it will feature new music from Dr. Dre, who also featured in the trailer. The trailer also features some new vocals from Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak and Snoop Dogg.

“Get ready for a wild and hilarious ride through Los Santos, from the mean streets of Franklin’s old neighborhood to the hottest parties in the city, from debaucherous mansions to the offices of the FIB and everywhere in between as you join Franklin, expert hacker Imani, Chop the Dog, and crew to secure Dr. Dre’s precious tracks and return them to their rightful owner,” wrote Rockstar Games.

Because of this, Dr. Dre has included tracks by partners like as Anderson.Paak (who also appears in the game), Busta Rhymes, and DJ Pooh in The Contract. Dre and Paak carve out a studio track in the trailer, which then plays a fragment of the song. The song “ETA” has a “Guilty Conscience”-style banter between the two Aftermath artists as Dre recounts his early days with Snoop Dogg. Busta Rhymes teased more of the song, which features himself and Snoop Dogg, on his website.

The Grand Theft Auto update story will release on December 15th. Check out the trailer below.
