Dr. Dre refused to help the homeless daughter, she launches a GoFundMe campaign.

Last week, it was reported that Dr. Dre’s eldest daughter LaTanya Young is currently homeless and living out in a rental car. The 38-year-old is Dr. Dre’s daughter from ex Lisa Johnson, 53. The single mother-of-four works as a delivery driver for DoorDash and Uber Ears and as an assembler at a warehouse but claims she can’t afford an apartment in California. She revealed that Dr. Dre has helped her in the past by paying her rent and giving her an allowance, but it ended in January 2020 and since then she hasn’t received a dime.

My kids are staying with friends. they are not living in the car, it’s just me,” says LaTanya. “I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while. The car is a pretty penny. It’s an SUV that costs $2,300 for three weeks and I only paid for one week. Sooner or later they are going to take the car.

Now reportedly Dr. Dre has refused to help her, which led to a launch of the GoFundMe Campaign, asking for $50,000. “I’m homeless and I’ve been reaching out to my dad for help,” she said. “His lawyer has said that my dad doesn’t want to help me because I’ve spoken about him in the press. I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids.

I think GoFundMe campaigns are for people in desperate situations and I’m in a desperate situation,” said LaTanya. “Some people were in awe of what I am going through and asked if I had a GoFundMe. I really don’t want to accept any handouts but I appreciate anything that is offered. I have worked all my life and I know how to work for money but I’m in a difficult place right now. I believe in investing in your kids. That’s what I want to do for my kids so they are never in a position like I am right now.
