Dr. Dre celebrates with “Divorced AF” ballons after officially divorcing his ex-wife Nicole Young.
Dr. Dre had been fighting a $1 billion legal battle with his ex-wife of 25 years Nicole Young, who filed for divorce from the rap mogul last year in June. During the battle, many accusations were made against Dr. Dre as Nicole Young accused him of abuse, having multiple mistresses, cheating and more. The two had two kids together, daughter Truly, 20, and Son Truice, 24.
The pair has been married since 1996, but their divorce has only recently been finalised. Dr. Dre has gone through a financial whirlwind as a result of his marriage’s disintegration, and now that the most difficult obstacles have been conquered, it appears he’s celebrating with a “Divorced AF” party, complete with balloons proclaiming his new single status.
Previously, it was reported that Nicole Young served Dr. Dre with legal divorce papers at a cemetery, where he was attending his Grandmother’s funeral. Sources connected to Dr. Dre told TMZ that a process server came up to him at the burial site where the rap mogul was standing by his grandmother’s casket and tried to serve him at that moment. But Sources of Nicole Young claimed that Dre was given the papers at the cemetery’s parking lot after his grandma’s funeral.

Recently, Dr. Dre was also ordered to around $1.5 million in Nicole Young’s attorney fees, and as already give Nicole $2 million in addition to two payments of $500k each. The newly reported sum made the lawyer fees in excess of $4 million.
According to the court order, Nicole has assets totalling “approximately $39 million” and Dr. Dre has approximately “$243 million.” The judge also restates the spousal support to be paid by Dre to his ex-wife for the past year, which is $3,812,978.
Now, it looks like the whole process of the legal battle is over, as “Forgot About Dre” rapper celebrates with “Divorced AF” balloons at a party. “Hey Well My Brother @drdre Just Told Me It’s Final !!! Congrats [champagne emoji] Still Dre [goat emoji][strong arm emoji],” wrote Breyon Prescott on IG.
