After she live-streamed her spiritual service for election night, praying for Trump’s re-election, spiritual leader Paula White’s video went viral. Her fervent pleading was afterward remixed with a slew of cats and rappers, the internet’s genuine lovers.
Paula Michelle White-Cain is a preacher, author, and televangelist from the United States who believes in prosperity theology and Christian Trumpism.
In Donald Trump’s presidency, White was appointed chair of the evangelical advisory group. On January 20, 2017, she offered the invocation at his inauguration. She is the first female member of the clergy to offer the invocation. Trump named her as a special advisor to the Faith and Opportunity Initiative at the Office of Public Liaison in November 2019.
