Doja Announces New Album Title; Says Previous Two Projects Were 'Cash Grabs'

Doja Cat again confuses fans with an update on the new album.

In recent months, Doja Cat shared several album updates, and now she’s back with another one. The rapper/singer has been teasing the upcoming project through IG live sessions, and she now she reveals another updated title for the album.

Before the update, Doja called her previous two projects “Cash Grabs” which had fans confused. “planet her and hot pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it,” she tweets. “now i can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop.”

Now she revealed that her upcoming album which was initially called “Hell Mouth”, will now be titled “First Of All”.

Last month, the ‘Planet Her’ hitmaker stated that she will no longer make pop music. “no more pop,” she wrote. “i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” she continued. “I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.” “pop isnt exciting to me anymore. I dont wanna make it,” she responded to a fan.

Doja’s previous third studio album “Planet Her” was released in 2021 with guest appearances from Young Thug, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, JID, and SZA. The project reached number one in New Zealand and spent four non-consecutive weeks at its peak of number two on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album was also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
