The New Orleans artists joined forces last year on the song titled “AD6”, which appeared on Currensy’s “Pilot Talk 4” album. “J A Y E L E C T R O N I C A lost his mind … glad we’re buddies man…dude is out of control with rap …thanks for the verse man…,” Curren$y wrote at the time. “You are a source of motivation for me man… I’ll carry this inspiration into 2022 and bring it@to the studio errrday let’s f**kin go.. #pilottalk4.”

While Currensy is one of the most hard working emcee in the game, having released 12 solo studio albums and two dozen collaborative efforts, Electronica have only two project in his discography.

Joint projects are nothing new for Jay Electronica; in fact, his initial album, A Written Testimony, which he launched in 2020 with JAY-Z, was one such collaborative effort. In addition to being nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards, the album entered on the US Billboard 200 at No. 12 in the country.
