Cordae shares the tracklist for “From A Bird’s Eye View”.
Cordae is all set to drop his highly anticipated new album “From A Bird’s Eye View” this week, and today he decided to unveil the official tracklist. After sharing the Artwork last month, the North Carolina rapper now reveals that his album will have 14 tracks with a star-studded guest features list.
The album will feature guest appearances from Gunna on “Today”. H.E.R. & Lil Durk on “Chronicles”, Freddie Gibbs, Nas & Stevie Wonder on “Champagne Glasses”, Eminem on “Parables” remix, Roddy Ricch on “Gifted” and Lil Wayne on previously released single “Sinister“.
In the run-up to the album’s release, Cordae announced a statewide tour that would begin next month. Beginning with a gig in Dallas on February 3, the tour will continue until late March, culminating with a show in Sacramento.
Cordae appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week to play two of the album’s tunes and to discuss the reason behind the album’s title. “It means to see things from outside of yourself,” Cordae said of From a Birds Eye View. “As human beings, we tend to all have, like, main character syndrome. It’s to see things from a more zoomed-out lens. That’s, like, me and you can get in an argument on TV—hopefully not, right?—but we can get in an argument here and I can leave here like, ‘Oh man, you know, Jimmy, he’s kinda, like, not a nice guy.’ But to see things from a bird’s eye view is like, ‘Oh, I can understand how I was wrong in this way.’ So to see things from a wider lens and more broader perspective.”
Last week, Cordae released a new “FABEV Freestyle” over the beat of Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Pt. 2”.
