Cole Bennett Talks Working With Eminem on "Godzilla" Video & Called It "One of the Most Incredible Moment of his Life"

Cole Bennett talks about working with Eminem.

Eminem’s new music video for his Juice WRLD assisted platinum single “Godzilla” is finally out now and it is directed by none other than Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennet. The music video director Cole Bennett took to Instagram to thank all the people who worked on the ‘Godzilla‘ video and also gave a shout-out to Eminem, along with Dr. Dre and Mike Tyson who made a cameo on the official video.

Cole Bennet wrote, “man… it’s finally here. one of the most incredible moments of my life. beyond thankful for this opportunity. juice carried me through the process, felt his presence with me more than ever. I love you forever. thank you to Eminem for trusting my vision with this project since day one. it means more to me than you know. he was one of the most down to earth & humble artists I’ve ever met. great dude to work with. also… working with Mike Tyson & Dr Dre. unreal.

Cole Bennett sat on his sofa for 16 minutes, animatedly discussing the video for the most popular single from Eminem’s current album “Music To Be Murdered By.” “I almost couldn’t believe it. It was pretty crazy for a moment not only because it was Eminem but because I knew what that meant to Juice. Eminem was one of Juice’s favourite artists growing up and he always talked about him. I just understood the impact that Eminem had had on Juice. This was kind of coming full circle and the opportunity for me to be able to do the video was a good way for me to pay proper homage to Juice.”
