Coi Leray Takes Shots At Her Father Benzino After Royce Da 5'9s Parenting Diss

Coi Leray takes shots at her father Benzino in her new song “No More Parties”.

Benzino recently has been taking a lot of shots at Eminem and trashed his latest project. After that Royce da 5’9″ came to his friend’s defense and clowned Benzino where he also dragged his daughter Coi Leray. “I’m gon take your daughter to the park and let her ride the swings if you don’t quit spending your whole day being a twitter goon. She pu–y popping on a handstand on IG. Now go hug her and tell her she’s beautiful before Drake or Trey Songz does,” wrote Royce.

is Coi Leray relatd to Benzino?

Coi Leray who gained popularity from her 2021 hit “TWINNEM”, is the daughter of rapper and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Benzino. She dropped her debut mixtape Everythingcoz in 2018, followed by a second mixtape, EC2 (2019), and her debut extended play, Now or Never (2020). In 2022, she released her debut studio album Trendsetter.

Later Benzino threatened Royce for bringing his daughter in the whole but now it looks like his parenting is really not up to the mark as Coi Leray herself disses her father on a new song.

In Coi Leray’s new track called “No More Parties“, she raps, “I’m too busy getting this money counting cheddar/My daddy let me down, but I promise you I won’t let up/I wanna say f**k that man, but that sh*t won’t make me better.

A clip of the song went viral on the video-sharing platform TikTok and helped her attain her initial charting success by peaking on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 26. An altered version of the track, which included American rapper Lil Durk, was released on February 19, 2021, and was featured in Leray’s debut studio album “Trendsetter” which was dropped in 2022.

In March 2021, the filmmaking trio Reel Goats created a music video for the song’s remix. In the video, Leray travels around her mansion, cleaning up and evicting guests after her pals threw a “crazy” house party in her absence the night before. The song debuted at number 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, earning Leray’s first chart entry.

According to Benzino, he claims that line is “cap.” In the message, Benzino said, “That [line] in her song is [cap] my name and rep is very important to me and nobody is gonna tarnish that for story line u dig? I still love u very much Coi Leray but this gotta stop.” He continued, “I don’t need clout, I am and always will be the clout and I’m very proud of what you are doing so I don’t need to prove nothing to anyone. You know I was there in your life every step of the way and when sh*t got rough I still was there. Don’t matter though, this industry is full of f**k ni***z and b*tches, so I’m always here when sh*t get th**k I’m just 7 numbers away.” He went on to mention that he gave Coi a good life growing up. He also wants Coi’s mother to stop feeding into the situation.”

Since there hasn’t been any news of Leray being on bad terms with Benzino, her lines come as a bit of a surprise. Leray has generally spoken highly of her father in interviews, even claiming that he was an influence on her decision to pursue a career in music. The feud between Royce and Benzino began earlier this month when the Detroit rapper took shots at the former co-publisher of The Source magazine and tweeted about how interesting it would be if he joined the popular app Clubhouse.

On January 22, 2021, 1801 Records and Republic Records released “No More Parties.” Leray’s first release of 2021 was this tune. Leray collaborated on the song with Maaly Raw and Okaykhan, who also produced it. It’s a mumble rap and R&B song with piano, “skittering” claps, and a slight bass rhythm over which Leray raps about elevating her life and profession, as well as lamenting about her father, Benzino.

When Royce brought Leray into the mix and claimed the young star had daddy issues, the back-and-forth became even more heated. If her father doesn’t stop letting his Twitter finger run wild, he threatened to take her to a park and “let her ride the swings.

Benzino overheard the remark and continued to refer to Royce as Eminem’s slave boy. “N—a it took that long to answer you F–king sl**e,” Benzino wrote. “After you finish washing his drawers and s–king his d**k holla at me. You the biggest coon in hip you sellout. How cam you be Malcom X and Sambo joe at the same damn time? I’m not Lil pump u f**k boi.

Royce shot back by saying, “I’m gon take your daughter to the park and let her ride the swings if you don’t quit spending your whole day being a twitter goon. She p**** popping on a handstand on IG. Now go hug her and tell her she’s beautiful before Drake or Trey Songz does.”

“The Bigger Picture” artist did not take kindly to the mention of Coi, calling Royce a ped**hile.”“You f***ed up Royce because what you said about my young daughter was perverted and predatory, aren’t you married? Don’t you have daughters? You made big mistake and soon you will understand that,” he wrote.

Royce and Benzino’s feud began earlier this month when the Detroit rapper took jabs and tweeted about how fascinating it would be if the former co-publisher of The Source magazine joined the popular app Clubhouse. “I can’t wait till Benzino gets on Clubhouse,” he tweeted. ”A Front row seat to the most obligatory pseudo toxic masculine tough guy talk the world has ever seen. Please Clap for this h*e a*s ni**a so he can try to move on. He stuck in 06. Thank you… Peace, Peace.

A part of the song, which peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 26, went popular on the video-sharing app TikTok and became her first single to chart on any chart. On February 19, 2021, a remix of the song with fellow American rapper Lil Durk was made available. The remix was a part of Leray’s first studio album, Trendsetter.

Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray have collaborated on their new tune “Blick Blick.” The rap pair performs back-to-back verses in a high-energy performance on the single. During her joyful “Blick Blick” Twitter outburst, Coi Leray demanded the Best New Artist Grammy Award for her tracks, including the Pooh Shiesty-assisted “Big Purr” and the new “Anxiety,” as well as exposing her fondness for smoking blunts and listening to G Herbo.

In an interview on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, Leray discussed her father’s beef with Eminem. “I know that anything that has to do with Eminem, I don’t have nothing to do with those times,” she said. “So don’t involve me in them. I’m my own person, you feel me? Don’t do that.” “Imma ride for my father regardless, ’cause he’s my father,” Leray added. “I don’t give a f**k what anybody says.”

She continued, “I wasn’t there to understand, but what I do know now is all that rap beef sh*t, even just today, is just f**king noise to me … I just think it’s just so corny and I don’t pay no mind to it.”

Benzino has returned to attack 50 Cent once more. During Benzino’s spat with his daughter Coi Leray, 50 Cent gave Leray a role in one of his TV series, which delighted the young star. But Benzino isn’t having it, saying, “Hey RATMAN aka 59 I appreciate u putting my Coi on but does she know you and STARS ain’t been seeing eye to eye lately.”

Benzino added, “Well I just got my hands on a federal lawsuit saying that the ‘BMF’ trademark isn’t yours & knew about it & never told Meech or STARS. Big mistake you dummy.”

Coi Leray has also come to Eminem’s defense after her father, Benzino, criticized the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for inducting the Detroit rapper into the 2022 class. Coi Leray posted a tweet that seemed to contradict her father’s previous statement, which had criticized Eminem.

In a new interview on We In Miami Podcast, Benzino gets emotional over deadbeat father accusations. “I went through a lot, man, and it was hard for me to be looked upon — like I’ve been called all kinds of sh-t, but a deadbeat dad? Come on, man,” he said. “I love my daughter. I don’t want to be that. I don’t want to be known as that. I don’t care what people think, but that hurt me. That’s my daughter, I raised her. When people say I hate on Coi’s career and jealous and all this, that sh-t is like, man, it’s evil. Because my love is huge for that little girl, man, that’s my little girl.”

At the Rolling Loud Miami 2023, Benzino watched Coi Leray live for the first time. “I’m just saying, she’s amazing,” Benzino said in a backstage interview. “Like for real, no bullsh-t. I love her. Seeing her like that… you can say I’m biased, but honestly, like, I don’t see nobody else doing that. She’s amazing, man.”

“It’s the first time he ever, ever seen me perform,” Coi responded, stating that she’s “carrying this hip-hop sh-t, this legacy sh-t.”
