Chris Brown Reveals He Recorded 250 Songs For New Album Breezy

Chris Brown reveals the process of choosing the best tracks for the album.

Chris Brown is prepping the release of his tenth studio album “Breezy“, which is scheduled to drop next Friday. The project which is a follow-up to 2019’s “Indigo“, will be featuring Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, Tory Lanez, Jack Harlow and others. The “With You” hitmaker is currently on the promo run and made a visit to BigBoyTV for an interview with Big Boy.

The 33-year-old recently teased that the album will have 23 tracks, and he was asked about how many songs he originally did for the project. “To do 23 tracks for the album, Breezy, how many do you have to record? How do you let your, so-called, ‘babies’ go? How do you pick 23?,” asks Big Boy.

“It’s crazy in the album process. I be having so many songs. I think for this actual project, I had almost 250 songs,” said Brown. “I was like, ‘Yeah, we gotta scale it down and figure out what we gon’ do.’”

Fivio Foreign called Chris Brown the new Micheal Jackson. Click here to follow the whole story.

He continued, “Too many of the songs sound in the same frequency. It’s like a show. You got the beginning, the climax, and then the end,” he said. “But I still want to give my audience at least two or three of the same and not [release] a whole album where every song sounds the same.”

Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Anderson.Paak, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, EST Gee, Blxst, Yung Bleu, WizKid, H.E.R., and Ella Mai are among the many guests on Breezy, which will be released on June 24. Brown’s previous double albums, 2017’s Heartbreak On A Full Moon and 2019’s Indigo, each included 45 tracks, so the 23-track collection is a far more condensed offering.

In an Instagram post, Brown revealed the album’s track list. “Need You Right Here,” “S*x Memories,” “CAB,” “Make Love,” “On Some New Sh*t,” and the previously released single “WE (Warm Embrace)” are among the 23 tunes Breezy may add.
