Chief Keef Responds To Trending On Social Media Amid Russia-Ukraine War

Chief Keef is ready to go to Ukraine to fight Russia.

Ukraine is currently at war with Russia after Vladimir Putin gave green light to his forces and attacked their neighbour country. While the people around the world calling on the end of the war between the two nations, netizens found a person who could stop the war. Rapper Chief Keef‘s name started trending on Social Media after the people jokingly backed him to fight off Russia.

On Friday (February 25), the Chicago rapper’s name began trending on Twitter for reasons other than his music. It’s because, through no fault of his own, the internet unanimously voted to nominate him for World War 3, sending the drill rapper to Ukraine to fight off Vladimir Putin and Russia’s military following the country’s invasion this week.

On social media, memes of Chief Keef have been sent to Ukraine to help defend the nation started circulating, seemingly implying that his militant nature would be useful during the current attack. The Chicago rhymer seems to have realised why he was getting more popular online and responded via Instagram.

Keef’s post is most likely in response to the numerous memes depicting him in Ukraine with guns as the country’s tensions with Russia escalate.

Gunna has added his voice to the growing number of hip hop stars speaking out about the ongoing conflict. On Twitter, he called for peace, writing, ““We pushing Peace,” which is a nod to his hit song “Pushin P.” Freddie Gibbs also weighed in on the situation, warning, “Russia ain’t ready for the Wh**e Machine.”

Actor and humanitarian Sean Penn is currently in Ukraine, documenting the looming war. He is conducting meetings with Ukrainian military and government officials as part of his ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the conflict.

The Chicago rapper was edited in several memes online, and he has been trending on social media worldwide for it. “We’re sending Chief Keef to handle the situation, have no worries folks,” shared Joe Biden’s parody page. The rapper now himself joined the whole thing and wrote, “On the way to Ukraine.”
