Brandy Shows Love For Jack Harlow After BET Awards Performance Me & You 4 Life

Brandy is delighted to take the BET Awards stage with Jack Harlow.

The annual BET Awards took place this past Sunday at the LOS Angeles Microsoft Theatre, which featured a special performance from Jack Harlow. The Kentucky rapper performed a medley, with surprise guests Lil Wayne and Brandy.

Last month, Harlow made headlines for not knowing that Brandy is Ray J’s cousin. The clip went viral and Brandy responded, “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing is a*s to sleep.” The “Full Moon” singer then went on to release a freestyle over Harlow’s hit “First Class“.

Now she couldn’t stop showing love for the “What’s Poppin” hitmaker with multiple posts on her social media. “Jack, thank you for such an amazing opportunity. Love for life,” she wrote. “This was a magical night. I felt so loved and appreciated by @jackharlow and his wonderful team I haven’t been to the bet awards in a VERY long time and it’s my dream to earn one. Thank y’all for embracing me like family. And the crowd for making me feel #firstclass Jack,me and you 4 life.”

“I am not over it… please swipe to see a pic of who got to see the performance and a bts photo of when I first met @jackharlow – such a sweet soul for sharing your light,” she said on another post.

“First of all, I can’t believe what just happened,” the icon told Entertainment Tonight backstage. “I didn’t know the crowd was gonna be excited … Oh my god, they were in it, and just, I’m so thankful to Jack because he gave me this great opportunity to, like, be a rapper. Like, I’ve had a rap dream for years. “I’ve been wanting to rap forever,” she continued. “And everybody was like [grumbles], ‘Everybody just wants to hear you sing’ or ‘Don’t do rap.’ But I’m like, I love rap. I love hip-hop, I love all of that, so …”
