T- Pain said that ‘Tupac Would Get ‘Ate’ Up ‘Lyrically’ Today is met with Criticism From Boosie Badazz.

Boosie Badazz has never shied away from voicing his opinions, and Wednesday (July 13) was no exception as the rapper made it quite apparent that he disapproves of T-most Pain’s recent remarks towards Tupac.

T-Pain is in trouble after a DJ Akademiks talk on Twitch. T-Pain recently reconnected with Akademiks for a chat about those things pop culture. During the discussion, T-Pain gave a viewpoint regarding Tupac Shakur that took listeners by surprise. According to Pain, Pac wouldn’t have garnered as much acclaim if he had succeeded in the age of social media or the contemporary Hip Hop culture.

“Pac would’ve gotten killed sooner and he would’ve gotten his ass ate the f**k up lyrically,” said T-Pain. “Lyricism-wise, Pac would’ve got ridiculously murdered. Bro, Pac was a crazy lyricist in our time because ain’t nobody else have no platform… If the platforms would’ve been what they are now, Pac would’ve been ate the f**k up […] I’m just saying what we look at as Pac’s greatest lyrics, right, is peanuts to what we hear today.”

Boosie Badazz responded to the contentious remarks on social media, stating that he believes the poetry of recent years wouldn’t even compare to ‘Pac’s. “2Pac was a great lyricist U probably wouldn’t understand him if u never been through the struggles that this world brings @TPAIN I disagree. the lyrics n songs these days last a couple years n there gone because they don’t have meaning .The lyrics don’t touch your heart,” he wrote. “I dont like when y’all sh*t on 2Pac. If he was living YALL wouldn’t step r talk about PAC n then death row ni**as,” he said on another tweet.
