Birdman & NBA Youngboy Announces Joint Mixtape From The Bayou

Birdman announces joint project “From Tha Bayou” with NBA Youngboy.

Birdman had been praising the NBA Youngboy for a long time and also claimed that he will the biggest rap star in 5 years. During his recent interview with REVOLT’S Big Facts Podcast, Stunna said that no one will be bigger than Youngboy in a few years. “I think NBA YoungBoy might be the biggest rapper,” said Birdman. “Ain’t no ni**a gone be bigger than NBA YoungBoy, numbers don’t lie, he’s the biggest YouTube artist right now in the world and he behind the wall.”

“When that lil’ boy get his mind right and he comes from under this bullshit and understands who he is, you know, [Young] Thug and all them, they’re up in age, they’re 30, this ni**a 20. And you put a ni**a behind the wall, they become smart. They ain’t making him nothing but a monster. So when he come out, he’ll know one thing. The sh*t he was doing, he don’t got to do because he can get this lil’ ni**a here. NBA YoungBoy, that sh*t ain’t normal. He nothing normal. He special. Big money right there. I think he’s a billion-dollar ni**a. He gon’ get it in touring, merch, music. We can’t do nothing about it.”

Now we are finally getting a project from the two, which was first teased back in 2018. Birdman and NBA Youngboy will join forces on a mixtape called “From The Bayou” which will drop on December 3rd this week. “FROM THA BAYOU #STUNNA and TOP this FRIDAY 12/3 NEVA BROKE AGAIN #RICHGANG,” wrote Birdman.

The rapper was freed from a Louisiana jail late last month and given permission to serve the remainder of his pre-trial jail sentence in Utah under home arrest. Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, the rapper behind “Make No Sense,” was granted $1.5 million bail after a court allowed his plea to live with an adoptive family.

The record will be released on December 3, which can’t come fast enough for his admirers who have been anticipating this collaboration for over four years. Fans were notified in 2018 that the team was working on a nine-track album. The release date was supposed to be March 22 at the time, but it never happened.
