Big Sean Addresses Kanye West’s comments about him in the “Drink Champs” interview.
Last month, Kanye West appeared on REVOLT TV’s “Drink Champs” for an iconic interview with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. During the two-part interview which clocks over 4 hours, Ye talked about many topics, and the hosts asked him to choose between Big Sean and Pusha T. “Oh. I love this. Let me tell you,” says Ye before bringing out a cardboard tombstone with RIP written over it. “I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here I signed Big Sean.’”
N.O.R.E. was still unclear about the answer, and asked him again, “So, I’m not quite sure of your pick, Big Sean over Pusha T?” “No, I’m saying the worst thing I’ve ever did was sign Big Sean,” responds Ye. “Nah, man. Look… I know this man’s momma, bro. I changed this man’s family. And both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life. And that’s some sellout s**t. And I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apology. I ain’t saying they ain’t gon’ change, but n****s is scared.”

The comments came after Big Sean left Kanye West’s GOOD Music label after 14 years, and dropped an independent project “What You Expect” with Hit-Boy. Sean Don laughed off Ye’s comments on Twitter, and now publicly responds to the statement through the same spot on “Drink Champs.” Big Sean will appear on an interview on “Drink Champs” tomorrow, and before that, a teaser is released where he addresses Kanye’s comments about him.
“I love Kanye, bro,” he said. “I love him for the opportunity he gave me and all those things but I thought what he said was some b***h a*s s**t.” Sean then picked up the same graveyard prop that Kanye used and said, “F**k this s**t, f**k what he talkin’ ’bout”.
Big Sean tried to laugh it off at first, but subsequently claimed Kanye owed him $6 million. On his own episode of Drink Champs, he exposed his actual feelings. The show will air on Thursday, December 16, but it will not be available on YouTube until Saturday (December 18). On Wednesday, Drink Champs uploaded a short film of Sean Don responding to Ye’s comments on Instagram to whet followers’ appetites (December 15).
