Big Naz Reveals Suge Knight Sent Death Row Goons For Eminem, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg in Hawaii

Big Naz reveals Eminem being confronted by Death Row goons on Plane.

Cam Capone News has released another part of their interview with Eminem’s former Bodyguard, Big Naz. In this session, Big Naz talks about how Suge Knight sent Death Row goona for Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg in Hawaii.

Suge Knight is widely regarded as one of hip-hop’s most heinous villains over the last few decades, and with good reason. The former Death Row Records boss is currently on trial for murder and has been linked to a slew of other famous hip-hop crimes, and now, Big Naz, a one-time Eminem bodyguard, says in an interview that he believes Knight wanted the Detroit rapper dead.

Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records, and Snoop Dogg’s friendship was nearly irreparably damaged at one point. Snoop jumped at the chance to sign with No Limit Records when Knight was sentenced to nine years in prison at the height of Death Row’s success as Snoop Dogg explained in an old interview, “I was working against the devil, and through the grace of God Master P and Priority Records put a deal together that was suitable for me.”

Suge Knight allegedly dispatched over 50 of his goons from Los Angeles to disrupt a reunion between Em, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre. According to Naz, the trip was no longer vacation because everyone was loading guns and strapping on bulletproof vests with their wives sitting next to them. Honolulu police were also assigned to accompany the bodyguards for the duration of the trip.

“There was a situation at the Source Awards, which was our first encounter with Suge Knight and his henchmen,” Naz explains. “They had it to where the artists couldn’t sit with the bodyguards. I notice Em is in the aisle and he is beefing with all these guys in red shirts. This is what they said: ‘Death Row motherf***ers! Suge Knight sent us to strong arm Eminem and it’s going down!’ I had to snatch Em up and call Dre, because he was backstage.”

He continued: “The scariest moment is when we went to Hawaii. When the plane lands we are greeted by 20 Honolulu police officers and they told us that Death Row is here — they tried to hem [Snoop Dogg] up. Suge Knight had sent 50 guys to try to break up the show. When we got there, vacation mode was over, we were lockin’-n-loading, putting on bullet proof vests with their wives and girlfriends sitting next to them. We had to have Interscope pick up the tab to put Honolulu police with each bodyguard, because of how deep Suge was over there.”

Cap Capone News: At one point, you guys had a trip to Hawaii and had some issues with Death Row.

Yeah, It supposed to be a vacation but it wasn’t,” says Big Naz. “We all had our wives, some people had their kids with them. We thought it was a vacation but it ended up being a f**kin problem. When we got off the plane, we ended up escorted by Honolulu policeman and we had to gather up our kids our wives, and had to be rushed to the transport van.

Cap Capone News: What was Em thinking at the time, what was he talking about.

He was always so focused on the show, man. I mean real talk man we all, everybody had a little nervousness about them. But we’re here to get money, Em was here to get money, Dre was here to get money so you can’t cancel the show, then the opposition wins.” says Big Naz.

Cap Capone News: Did they make it in the show.

No, I can recall and I wrote it in the book (Shady Bizzness), a couple of the guys that were with Death Row tried to flash bashed to get in and they wouldn’t let them in, they got shut down at the door. Because we had already prepped the in-house security and Honolulu police. It gets interested in trying to leave.

Cap Capone News: Right, so you already see you guys get on the plane and they’re on the plane with you.

Big Naz continues, “These guys are on the plane with us man. At that time I was the only bodyguard Eminem had so It was me protecting Em, and then of course I gotta protect Paul Rosenberg like I protect Proof. So you saw one guy doing a five-man detail. So some of the guys from Death Row, they see me sitting with my then-wife, so the guy walked by and looked at me like. I told my wife, I say I gotta go. So I get up and walked behind him and tried to talk to him and say ‘hey man what are you doing man’. He said ‘I need to talk to Em’, I said you’re not talking to him. I said listen, man, we’re in the air, the sh*t go down I said I’ve already contracted Interscope, I already talked to LAPD, I said they’re waiting for us to land. The pilots knew, the airline stewardess knew what was going on and she told the guys they need to go back to your seats. So the guy wants to wake Em u, I said you’re not gonna wake him up, I said you’re not gonna win this fight.

Then Big Naz reveals how Eminem wakes up and confronted the Death Row Goons. “By that time, Em wakes up, he said Naz fall back, he said what you want to say to me. So the guy leans in and he’s talking to Em, So Em leans back, he said well I’m not working with y’all. He said y’all think y’all going strong on me to come work with y’all, He said I’m not working with y’all. He said I signed to Dre, my alliance is to Dre. So the guy got up and he walked back to his seat.
