August Alsina References Jada Pinkett Smith Romance On New Song Shake The World

August Alsina addresses his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith on his new track.

Will Smith recently shocked everyone as he slapped the comedian Chris Rock for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith at the Oscars 2022. August Alsina, who made headlines a couple of years ago after revelations that he was in a relationship with “King Richard” actor’s wife, again started trending on social media.

The New Orleans artist decided to capitalize on the trends as he unleashed a new song “Shake The World”. “I heard I was canceled / Well, let’s speak on that,” sings Alsina. “Red dot on my back / I became a target / And I’m flawed but flawless / That’s what makes me August.”

For those who don’t know, the couple started dating in 2015, according to Jada. August Alsina, on the other hand, did not officially announce that he was in a romantic connection with her until 2020. Will Smith, Jada’s husband, was well aware of their ‘entanglement,’ according to the musician, and gave them his okay. These accusations were then heavily scrutinised by the media, as fans were astonished to find that Will and Jada had a rocky relationship, and the fact that the affair was carried out with Will’s approval outraged many.

He previously did the same on Rick Ross’ collaboration “Entanglements“, which was released after the much talked about conversation between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett on “Red Table Talk”.

“I love those people literally like my family,” he said in an interview with Angela Yee. “I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism. He gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life. And I truly am really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it – so much so to the point that I can die right now and be OK with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
