Atlanta Rapper Trouble Reportedly Shot & Killed At The Age of 34

The hip-Hop fraternity reacts to the passing away of Trouble.

On Sunday morning, the internet was hit with the tragic news that Atlanta rapper Trouble reportedly passed away at the age of 34. Mariel Semonte Orr ex-girlfriend Alexis Skyy confirmed the news through her social media. “I’m so sorry this happen to you Skoob you didn’t deserve this I’m praying for your kids and family,” she wrote.

According to reports that are coming in, the rapper was shot and killed last night when he was in his car in Atlanta. The rapper tweeted yesterday night that he was going home. “Its toooooooo many 12 of for me tonight IM GOIN HOME Yall move smoove outchea,” he wrote.

“Damn trouble was somebody i use to really preach to and help spiritually. And he was learning how to be happy and live life. This one kinda hurt me i ain’t gon front,” shared Lil Duval. “Trouble was my dawg! Pulled up anywhere I was at didn’t care if it was last minute he was there. I can’t believe this…What is going on man! My condolences to his family. Bro had kids man!” said Bow Wow through IG story.

Trouble was born Mariel Semonte Orr, who is also known as Skoob. On December 17, 2011, he made his debut mixtape, which featured the song “Bussin.” With features on Lupe Fiasco’s, Trae the Truth’s, and YFN Lucci’s “Key to the Streets,” Trouble continued to ascend. The rapper also had a string of hit singles on the streets, including “Bring it Back,” which he co-wrote with Drake and produced by Mike WiLL Made-it. He’s also collaborated with Migos, City Girls, 2 Chainz, Jeezy, and City Girls and The Weeknd on other successful tracks.

In his catalogue, Trouble has released two studio albums, “Edgewood” with Mike Will Made It in 2018, and “Thug Luv” in 2020. The rapper has dropped multiple mixtapes, with the most recent “Years in 2016” in 2017.

Trouble expressed gratitude to Mike Will for assisting him in getting his voice heard.“It’s a few dudes in the game that are cool or whatever, but when it comes to a n***a like Mike Will and Zaytoven, it’s just a whole another level [of respect] as far as personally, “’Cause they was always on my line and always on me.” “The game was just so discouraging for a minute,” he continues. “I was like, ‘f**k that s**t.’ For everybody in the A, they know what I’m talking about is facts.
