Watch Martin Freeman Says That Eminem Might've Copied His Dressing Style

Martin Freeman talks about his Fashion sense, says Eminem copied him.

Martin Freeman recently made a visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden for a new interview. On the show, James Cordon calls Martin Freeman a snappy dresser and asked if he has always been a snappy dresser. Martin Freeman’s unwavering strong fashion sense makes James Corden feel compelled to compliment him, and the two explain the terms mod and ragamuffin to Pete Holmes. After that, Martin Freeman acknowledges that he had a time in his teens where his clothes represented his obsession with rap music and that Eminem may have stolen a style or two.

When I was about 18, I got seriously into Hip-Hop and my wardrobe went a little left turn,” says Martin. “It didn’t last long because I thought this doesn’t really suit. In the early 90s, I was wearing big baggy jeans, massive jeans, bleached hair. I looked like a ping-pong ball. And this was before Eminem. I’m not saying Eminem copied me but he might have.

After that Pete Holmes says, “We have our click-bait, Martin Freeman says Eminem stole his style. You are getting a diss-track dude.

But Martin said he would be happy to be dissed by Eminem as his son lives for Eminem and that would be the best day of his life. “Oh, I’ll be delighted. My son lives for Eminem, that would be the best day of my life.” says Martin

On September 8, 2014, James Corden was named as the show’s next host, following Craig Ferguson. Originally set to air on March 9, 2015, CBS postponed the premiere to March 23, 2015, in order to capitalise on the NCAA basketball tournament to promote Corden’s debut.
