Watch Eminem Talks About Kobe Bryant's Death It Makes Me Sick Man

Eminem talks about Kobe Bryant on KXNG Crooked Show.

The heartbreaking news of basketball great Kobe Bryant and his young daughter dying in a helicopter crash reached the hip-hop scene, and artists could not hide their grief. They used social media to express their condolences and pay respect to one of the NBA’s most successful and inspirational players. Eminem sat down with KXNG Crooked for a new 1-hour interview on Crook’s Corner where he talks about his new album ‘Music To Be Murdered By‘ and a long of things including the recent death of NBA Legend Kobe Bryant along with 8 others including his Daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash.

Let me ask you man were you ever a fan of Kobe Bryant?” asks Crooked. “Absolutely, I mean who wasn’t?“, says Eminem. “Like I don’t know how you could not be. I can’t even like, it makes me sick man. It makes me really sick to my stomach to even try to grasp what happened. Nine people.

Then KXNG Crooked continued and praised Kobe Bryant and Eminem for having a lot of things in common. “I asked you this because great people have a lot in common,” says Crooked. “I feel like you have you know what he had, that killer instinct when you go in the booth. That work ethic. If he’s showing up two hours before everybody else working on his shot. I’ve seen you in the studio, you know, working on a hook that you know, getting it down to the f**king last f**king, f**king molecule in that b*tch, you know what I’m saying, like just making sure that shit is right man. Your work ethic is incredible.” Watch it below (at 55:39).

Eminem also mentioned Young M. A. Since her breakout in 2016 with Ooouuu, Eminem has been following her. “Then I started watching every video she put out,” Eminem said, “I just went down the wormhole of the Eat freestyle she did, and then she did Flex, and how she was just calm … calmly killing it,” Eminem added.

When Eminem released Music to Be Murdered By, fans were taken aback. It’s a surprise album not just because of its title, but also because it’s a surprise album. What happened to cause that? According to Eminem, “Dre had this sample, years ago, and one day it just popped in my head … I hit him, I was like, “Yo, whatever happened to that beat? He was like, “Oh, it’s still around.” … I started thinking like, “Yo, that whole concept is crazy. Music to Be Murdered By.”

Young M.A., a New York-based rapper, is featured on the album’s second track, Unaccomodating, and Eminem compliments her high.
