Michael B. Jordan Says Drake Is The Greatest Of All Time, Placing Above Tupac & JAY-Z

Micheal B Jordan declared Drake the GOAT in a recent interview with Complex.

Actor Michael B. Jordan recently named Drake as the greatest of all time (G.O.A.T.) in hip-hop, placing him above legendary rappers such as 2Pac and JAY-Z. During an interview with Complex, Jordan and his Creed III co-star, Jonathan Majors, were asked to name their G.O.A.T.s in various categories. When it came to rappers, Jordan had no doubts in his mind and immediately named Drake as his pick for the top spot.

Jordan cited Drake’s commercial success and ability to cross different genres as the reasons for his choice. He also praised Drake’s ability to pen rhymes that speak to his personal experiences. Majors, on the other hand, had a tougher time deciding between 2Pac and JAY-Z.

Recently, Drake reflected on some of his past lyrics, admitting that he regrets name-dropping his exes in his music. He also expressed regret for suggesting that he would retire at the age of 35 in his 2016 song, “Weston Road Flows.” “I hate hearing that s**t,” Drizzy said of what he now considers to be an ageist statement. “I heard it the other night. I think that and sometimes when I’ve said girls’ names in songs, maybe those are the two things that I look back on and I’m like, ‘Maybe I coulda done without, like, shitting on people for age or disrupting somebody’s life.'” He continued: “The lyrics are never with ill intent, but I had somebody tell me one time, ‘You know, it’s not necessarily what you’re saying about me, it’s the fact that you said it.'”

In other Drake news, the rapper will be joining J.Cole as a headliner for the Dreamville Festival 2023 in April. The festival will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will feature performances from Usher, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, City Girls, Burna Boy, and more. J. Cole and Drake will close out the festival with a joint performance.
