Megan Thee Stallion Gets Emotional As She Explains Getting Shot By Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion share details of the Tory Lanez shooting incident.

Its been around 2 years since the controversial Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez shooting incident, and the two are still fighting the case in court. Now Stallion connects with Gayle King for a new interview, where she explains the whole thing that happened during the incident.

“It was an argument because I was ready to go, and everybody else wasn’t ready to go,” she explains. “But that’s like normal friend stuff, we fuss about silly stuff all the time. I never put my hands on anybody, I never raised my voice too loud, like this was one of them times where it’s like it shouldn’t have got this crazy.”

“So I get out of the car, and everything just happened so fast. All I hear this man screaming is, ‘Dance, bi**h,’ and he starts shooting, and I’m just like Oh, my God… like he shot a couple of times,” she continued. “I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick ‘cause I’m like, Oh, my God if I take the wrong step, I don’t know if he’ll shoot something that’s super important and I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me. I was really scared ‘cause I had never been shot at before.”

Tory Lanez — real name Daystar Peterson — was temporarily jailed earlier this month for breaking the protection order, but he was freed on a larger bond ahead of his trial, which is due to start on Sept. 14. Lanez earlier pled not guilty to all counts and faces a maximum term of 22 years and eight months in prison if found guilty as charged.

Pete didn’t name Peterson as her claimed assailant for weeks after the assault, but revealed so in an Instagram post more than a month later. “Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and shit,” she said in the video posted Aug. 20, 2020. “Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you’re dragging it… Even though he shot me, I tried to spare him. And ya’ll motherf**kers is not sparing me. That’s crazy.”

Check out the trailer of the interview below, and the full thing will be on “CBS This Morning” Today.
