Lil Durk Says He's Running The Rap Game Right Now With Lil Baby, Kodak Black & 21 Savage

Lil Durk names his top favourite rappers.

Lil Durk earned his first-ever solo #1 album on Billboard 200 with his latest project “7220“. The rapper continues the promo run as he now made an appearance on Full Send Podcast for a sit down with Kyle Forgeard and Bob Menery. The rapper discussed various topics, including competition with his go-to collaborator Lil Baby, backlash over recent collab with Morgan Wallen and more.

At one point of the interview, Smurk was asked about his favorite rappers right now besides himself. “I listen to a few artists who really keep me on my toes,” he responds. “I’m gonna name my three, not the three the world already know. [Lil] Baby, I’m gonna say Kodak [Black] this is not including like the Thugs and Futures now.. I’m sayin 21 Savage.”

The rapper also revealed the price for a feature verse from him. “If I don’t know you? I ain’t gon’ lie, I gotta go $350,000. I got receipts,” he said. “You gotta have receipts. ’Cause somebody can come up here just to lie to boost theirselves or…we got receipts.”

“Ahhh Ha,” a new track by Lil Durk, was produced by Southside. He originally said that his seventh studio album, 7220, would be released on the same day, but it was put back to March 11; it was then released, comprising of 17 tracks and including guest appearances from Future, Gunna, Summer Walker, and Morgan Wallen.

Each rapper he named has a strong track record of working with Durk. With their joint project Voice Of The Heroes, Baby contributed to Durk’s first record to reach the top of the charts. He recently collaborated with Yak on the Back For Everything highlight “Take You Back.” The sole feature of the undertaking was Durk.

Together, Durk and 21 Savage earlier collaborated on the song “Die Slow,” and most recently, with G Herbo’s help, they helped Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke?” climb the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
