KXNG Crooked is Hoping That One Day, Eminem and Joe Budden Will Reunite

KXNG Crooked hoping for Joe Budden and Eminem to end their differences.

The feud between Eminem and former Shady Records signee Joe Budden has been simmering for a long, with the two exchanging fiery jabs during the Kamikaze period, but things have since calmed down. KXNG Crooked recently sat down with Smoothvega for an interview on his ‘Nothing Beats Experience‘ podcast where he talks about Slaughterhouse, Death Row, Ja Rule/50 Cent/Eminem beef, and much more. Over the years, Eminem and Joe Budden have had a tumultuous relationship, with many bullets being fired back and forth between them. Despite their history, former Slaughterhouse member KXNG Crooked is optimistic that the two artists can work out their differences and put their Shady Records feud to rest once and for all. In the interview, KXNG Crooked also revealed that he’s hoping that one day Joe Budden sits down with Eminem to end their differences.

Em fired gunfire at Budden and Anderson earlier this year. “Lock It Up,” a duet between Paak and “Music to Be Murdered By.” On his podcast, Budden responded by telling Eminem to quit dissing him.

I think Joe is gonna get in the booth,” says KXNG Crooked. “There are some things that happened and we ain’t got to talk about old bullshit. But there are some things that happened, and he said some things. He got to understand and that’s what I always tell him, ‘You have a huge voice in the game. So if you say something, that shit is going to resonate’. He says something that I disagree with, as far as how some shit went down on Shady Records. You know, you say, “Yo, it happened like this” and I say, “Nah, it didn’t quite happen like that”. He just got to be careful, his voice is big. One day I’m hoping that he and Em will be able to sit down… They don’t get to be friends again, they get to be none of that. Just be men and sit down. Because you know what, these two, they cut from the same cloth. They are really deep artists, they love their craft. If you listen to Em’s ‘Stan’ and Joe’s ‘Fan’, it’s a lot of similarities. And they’re good dudes trying to do the right thing. I feel like all that was for no reason. I really wish that they would sit down and that might happen. But anyway, I think Joe will get back in the booth. I believe he will. You can’t just turn that sh*t off.

After all, there is a slew of unsolved issues between Slim and Budden, who paid Em a lot of respect on “Slaughtermouse.” “Plaques and charted tracks won’t take me away from them, So I hope you understand / F**k this record deal, you inspired me as a man / I’ll cut it short, before I start feelin’ like a Stan” – Joe Budden, “Slaughtermouse.”

Despite Joey’s dissatisfaction, KXNG Crooked never felt the same way; in fact, his friendship with Eminem seemed to improve after the group’s departure from Shady, to the point that he once clashed with Budden about how the situation played out. Crook has now contacted EPro to discuss the potential of reconciliation, which he remains optimistic about.
