Joe Budden gives his opinion on Kanye West’s “DONDA 2”.
Kanye West is all set to drop his new album “DONDA 2” later this month, which is a sequel to his last year’s effort. The album which is scheduled to drop on 22 February, will be executive produced by Future. During the latest podcast of Joe Budden, they discussed the upcoming Ye album, and Budden said that Kanye will not drop the album on the given date, and claims it will be a most toxic album.
“I think this is the most toxic sh*t in the universe,” he said. “And for it to be as impactful as the most toxic sh*t in the universe, it has to be somewhat near real-time. I think this is a counter and a rebuttal. I don’t think his plan was to drop so early. That’s an assumption. That’s speculation from Joe. But he can’t hold this too long. I think he’s been looking at what he deems to be a movie and a script, and he’s been trying to reply the best he could, but he’s a musician. So, he’s going to reply in music. And he’s gonna get the toxicist of the toxic kings [Future].”
Based on what we know about Kanye West, Budden’s co-hosts are skeptical that Future will be executive producing the album. “I don’t know that Kanye can have a [Executive Producer] in the real sense of the word, but it’s as close as you can go,” Budden added.
Last year, Joe Budden praised Kanye West “Donda” album, calling it genius and brilliant. “I love it,” he said “So genius. It’s brilliant. 8.5. It’s 8.5. It’s a masterpiece.”
