Jack Harlow Reveals His Top 5 Favorite Rap Albums Drake, Kanye West & More

Jack Harlow lists his favourite rap albums on the Rap Radar podcast.

Jack Harlow recently made an appearance on the Rap Radar podcast for an interview with Elliott Wilson and Brian ‘B.Dot’ Miller. During the conversation, the rapper was asked about his favourite hip-hop projects, to which he named the likes of Drake, Kanye West and JAY-Z.

“Late Registration (Kanye West), Aquemini (OutKast), Nothing Was The Same (Drake),” Harlow named. “I love Blueprint (JAY-Z), you know what album I love? When Fish Ride Bicycles by The Cool Kids… I love the Cool Kids. Cool Kids give me all that bounce and tempo that I like.”

During the interview, the rapper also shouted out Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole as today’s GOAT contenders, and states that their voices sound nostalgic as they remind us of better times from back in the days.

“What people want is changing, what the youth wants is changing,” Harlow said at around the 48-minute mark. “And it’s almost like Drake, Kendrick and Cole, their voices are damn near nostalgic at this point. We know this is good ’cause this is from the days when things were a little better.”

He continued, “You hear Drake’s voice come on in the club and it almost reminds you of 2012, which was a great time. It reminds you of 2016, which was a great time. It’s almost like the history of the big three continues to reign on because what they’ve already accomplished is like… well we know we’re getting some good sh*t from them, and it’s why you see people go back and instead of banging new sh*t they’re listening to Forest Hills Drive, or they’re listening to Late Registration.”

“It’s almost if we’re living in a time where people feel like this era isn’t special enough to stamp anything as timeless or classic as if the time of classic sh*t. It already happened.”

Previously, the Kentucky rapper named JAY-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Andre 300, Kanye West and Eminem were among his top favourite rappers of all time.
