Freddie Gibbs Says He Thought LeBron James Would Beat His As At Super Bowl

Freddie Gibbs details bumping into LeBron James at Super Bowl.

Freddie Gibbs is known for clowning other artists and fans on social media, but not only that, the “Alfredo” rapper often trashes sportspersons and the teams. The rapper has been making fun of Los Angeles Lakers for some time now, and he thought he would get a beating when he bump into NBA legend LeBron James during Super Bowl weekend.

“I talked to LeBron at Super Bowl weekend. I was like, ‘Oh sh*t LeBron’,” he said about bumping into LeBron James. “Look, I thought LeBron was gonna beat my a*s. I ain’t even gon’ lie, man. I was prepared to get my a*s whooped for talking sh*t about the Lakers and sh*t but LeBron a real ni**a.”

Despite adding NBA 75 honorees Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony to their star-studded roster last summer, the Lakers are now in ninth place in the Western Conference with a terrible 28-36 record.

The criticism has centred on Westbrook’s poor shooting, which Freddie Gibbs fueled with a recent tweet. In reaction to a video of Lakers fans criticising the point guard during a game, he said, “Y’all gotta stop letting him shoot that shot bruh.”
