Eminem Says Snoop Dogg Is So Fkin Funny, He Can Be A Stand-Up Comedian

Eminem addresses Snoop Dogg beef, gives props to his humour.

Ahead of the 2022 NFL Super Bowl Halftime show performance with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg, Eminem appeared on Shade 45 for a virtual interview with Sway Calloway. In the interview, the Detroit rapper talked about the upcoming “nerve-wracking” halftime show, production from Dr. Dre and more.

“Snoop’s star has never stopped rising,” said Sway. “This dude is incredible how he transformed and evolved as an artist, as a human being in general and the lot of things he’s doing as a businessman.”

Sway has already released a few excerpts from the interview, in which Eminem discusses how performing on live TV is nerve-racking for him, how he feels about his Super Bowl Halftime Show co-star, Kendrick Lamar, and how he felt when Dr. Dre first approached him with the Super Bowl Halftime Show idea.

“And he’s in every other commercial,” responds Eminem. “Every other commercial I see, like can’t escape him. It’s great that he made himself still be relevant to this day, since 1991-92, that crazy.”

Eminem was also asked if he sat down with Snoop Dogg for a conversation. “Not really, but just you know f**kin around on stage in rehearsals and sh*t,” he said. “Me and Snoop are good. We talked months ago, made peace, and realised that nobody should beef within their own camp.”

He continues, “Snoop is Snoop man, I always say this about him, he literally can be a f**kin stand-up comedian. He’s so f**kin funny, that sh*t he did with the Animal planet. He’s like that constantly when you’re around him. It’s constant, it never stops.”

Eminem has stated that a feud he had with Snoop Dogg was settled after their mutual buddy Dr. Dre was hospitalised. The secret was out during an interview on Paul Pod, a SiriusXM hosted by Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s lifelong manager.

When that thing happened with Dre, we were like, ‘Bro, this is stupid,’” Eminem said. “This is stupid as hell to be feuding right now.”

“I think that there was a miscommunication at the time, in regards to him being on my album,” Eminem says in the new interview. “I think he had wanted to do something with me,” he recounts — a return of favor which not only failed to pan out, Snoop’s camp took it as a diss.
