Eminem Praises Kendrick Lamar, Calls Him Top Tier Lyricist Of All Time

Eminem calls Kendrick Lamar a top tier lyricist ahead of Super Bowl.

We’re just a couple of days away from witnessing one of the greatest hip-hop performances as Dr. Dre will link up with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige for the NFL Super Bowl halftime show at the SoFI Stadium in Inglewood, California. Ahead of the event, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Mary J. Blige appeared at the Super Bowl press conference yesterday, but there was no sign of Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.

However, the Detroit Rapper did make an appearance, but for a new interview with Sway Calloway on Shade 45. “When Dre first asked, when the whole thing started going down, we were like okay this might be actually serious,” he said. “I was trying to vision what Dre might do. I was like all of us gonna rap together right, and that kind of thing but I didn’t expect it to be, like the production to be like this.”

Eminem also showed high praise for Kendrick Lamar when Sway mentioned the “DAMN” rapper. “Kendrick to me, is the most electrifying vocalist of this generation, would you agree with that?” asked Sway. “I absolutely would agree,” said Eminem. “Kendrick is at the very top tier of lyricists, not just this generation, but of all time.”

During the conversation, Eminem revealed that he had felt anxious about his upcoming performance on Sunday. “It’s f**king nerve-racking. This is like to me, there’s nothing more final than live TV. You know what I’m saying? So, if you f**k up, your f**k up is there forever.”
