Dem Jointz Had To 'Explain' Himself After Posting Eminem's MTBMB Side-B Artwork Early

Dem Jointz talks about sharing Eminem’s “Music To Be Murdered By – Side B” Early.

Before the release of Eminem’s latest Deluxe Version of “Music To Be Murdered By” album, there were so many hints and rumors about the project, which was almost confirmed by the producer Dem Jointz. The Aftermath Entertainment Affiliate shared an IG post where he displayed the Cover Art of projects he had worked on in 2020. The post had fans excited as it also featured the alleged Cover Art for the Deluxe “Music To Be Murdered By” album.

Now in a new interview with HipHopDX, the Compton native producer was asked if he got in trouble for confirming the rumored Eminem project. “I mean I wouldn’t say I got in trouble, but I did have to explain myself,” says Dem Jointz. “I didn’t see it as a big deal. I saw the full tracklist and I was like, ‘Oh shit. So this is the B side plus the existing tracklist from the original.’ And when I looked online for it, that came up, the B side cover. And to me, it was just as plain as day. So as far as I’m concerned, it’s already out. No one gave that to me it was online.

So I was like, ‘Oh shit. I guess the news is out then, right?’ No, it’s not. No one knew. But I didn’t look for this. I didn’t go hunting for this. This is right here, right in front of my face.

Dem Jointz worked on Dr. Dre’s “Compton” album, producing “Medicine Man,” which featured Eminem, Candice Pillay, and Anderson. Paak’s songs include “Genocide,” which features Kendrick Lamar, “Deep Water,” which features Kendrick Lamar and Justus, and “Satisfaction,” which features Snoop Dogg, Marsha Ambrosius, and King Mez.
