50 Cent Speaks on Long Delayed Street King Immortal & Eminem Collab Champions

50 Cent talks about the long-awaited album “Street King Immortal”, also speaks on Eminem joint.

It’s been a long, often-delayed trip, but fans will finally be able to hear 50 Cent’s long-awaited Street King Immortal on November 13. In a recent interview with the Queens emcee discloses some of the features he has planned for his fifth studio album. It’s been around a decade since 50 Cent first teased his album called “Street King Immortal” and now the POWER mogul has revealed that he has scrapped the original version of the project. Back in 2012, Fifty tweeted that Jimmy Iovine told him that SKI is the best project he has made since iconic “Get Rich or Die Tryin”.

Despite the fact that the follow-up album, Curtis, opened at No. 2, it sold approximately 700,000 copies. 50 Cent hasn’t released a full-length album since Animal Ambition in 2014, and he’s been concentrating on his lucrative television projects. However, 50 Cent hinted in an Instagram post last month that his next album will likely be his last.

For the promo run of his new show “Raising Kanan“, which premiered last night, 50 Cent sat down with The Independent for an interview where he was asked about the long-awaited album. “That original version is not [being released], but I’m releasing new music in September,” said 50 Cent.

He also gives updates on the unreleased Eminem collaboration “Champions”, which he first teased back in 2015. “I didn’t finish the tracks with him [Eminem]… I’m not gonna tell who’s on it because I’m the most exciting person [on the album].

50 Cent once again shows appreciation for the Detroit Rapper who first discovered him. “He’s [Eminem] still one of the best artists to me,” Curtis says. “He means more to the culture than a lot of other artists – a lot of people looked at him and saw themselves, and understood how they fit into hip-hop culture.

Street King Immortal was supposed to be the official follow-up to 50’s fourth studio album, Before I Self Destruct, released in 2009. Initially reported to be released during the summer of 2011, the project was given an official release date of November 2012 in July 2012. The release date of the album was then put back many times, from February 2013 to September 2015 to August 2016. Prior to this week’s release, 50 had previously teased Street King in January 2018, promising fans that it will indeed see the light of day. “It’s as thrilling as my first [album],” he stated at the time.

With all of the backlash, many fans believed Street King Immortal had been canceled, but there was no confirmation. Fans will be waiting for 50’s upcoming album, which has no launch yet, even though they will not hear Street King Immortal. Hopefully, 50 finds time now that Power Book III: Raising Kanan has been renewed for season 2.

“One season isn’t enough to tell the coming-of-age story of Kanan Stark and his mother, Raq, a fierce and successful woman who is a force of nature,” Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO of Starz, said. “The anticipation globally for more of the Power Universe made it clear that the Kanan story needs to continue.”

In terms of how the record would sound, Fif’s description sounded more like the post-Recovery Em singles we’ve come to anticipate these days. It sounds like one of Eminem’s previous big tracks, complete with an R&B singer on the chorus. And it’s one of those songs where he composed his part before I got there, he added, adding that they still have some on-record chemistry, a very great process where it’s generally more enjoyable than it seems like work.”

The last time the duo collaborated was the Ed Sheeran joint called “Remember The Name” which dropped a couple of years ago.

The musician just updated fans on his new mixtape effort through Instagram. He declares that his “next album might be [his] last.” He also reminded his contemporaries and followers that he had “terrorised hip hop for 14 years, don’t believe me Nielsen, the numbers will never lie, but I’m nobody’s favourite SMH.” Nah, I’m Top 10 dead or alive, and I’m not done.” The statements about his forthcoming album come around five months after he previously teased the project. The mixtape has not yet been released.
