Wale Drops His New Single Poke It Out Feat. J. Cole

Wale Releases his new song “Poke It Out” with J. Cole.

After the surprise announcement yesterday, Wale has released his brand new track called “Poke It Out” which features assistance from J. Cole. He shared a picture with the Dreamville boss yesterday, with the caption “Folarin x Cole World.

The good friends and longtime collaborators have worked together on various tracks, including “Rather Be With You” with Currensy, “Beautiful Bliss”, and “Yo Got It”. A few years back, Wale dropped his short EP called “Free Lunch“, which also featured a J. Cole joint called “My Boy” Freestyle.

This is J. Cole’s second collab in a week, he recently assisted Joyner Lucas on the song called “Your Heart.” A couple of months back, Wale enlisted Chris Brown for a track called “Angles“.

The single, which features a sample from Q-Tip’s 1999 song “Vivrant Thing,” was produced by Cool & Dre and marks the first time the duo has collaborated on vinyl in three years.

Cole, on the other hand, just announced that the famous Dreamville Festival would be expanded to a two-day event in 2022, on April 2 and 3. The event will be held at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, with a part of the revenues going to the Dreamville Foundation and the Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy.
