The Weeknd Drops New Single & Video Double Fantasy Feat. Future

The Weeknd shares new song “Double Fantasy” with Future.

After announcing it earlier this week, The Weeknd returns to the music scene with a brand new Future collab titled “Double Fantasy”. The song is produced by Mike Dean, Metro Boomin and Abel himself, and it arrives with an official music video.

“Love when you f**kin’ me, talkin’, I know what you doin’ / Caught up in love, what the f**k is we doin’? / Models and bottles with us, ain’t nothin’ to it / I tell you “I got you”, that’s well understood,” raps Future.

It is the first offering off The Weeknd’s upcoming soundtrack album in support of his HBO show “The IDOL“, which is slated to release on June 4th.

The show is created by The Weeknd, Euphoria director Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim. The series stars The Weeknd himself in the lead role along with Lily Rose Depp. The other cast includes Troye Sivan, Debby Ryan, Rachel Sennott, Steve Zissis and more.

During the mid-production phase of the anticipated series “The Idol,” Rolling Stone published a report labeling it as “torture p**n.” Following these claims, The Weeknd, Johnny Depp, and HBO all responded to the accusations. The Weeknd took to Twitter, posting a clip from the show featuring his and Depp’s characters denouncing the magazine, and asked, “Did we upset you?”
