The Weeknd Drops Another New Song The Lure (The IDOL Soundtrack)

The Weeknd shares new track “The Lure” with Mike Dean.

The Weeknd continues putting out new material as he gives another taste off his “The IDOL, Vol 1” soundtrack. With the release of first episode of the HBO series, the Canadian star decided to drop new music on weekly basis.

After giving us “Popular” with Playboi Carti and Madonna last week, the R&B star now shares another new track titled “The Lure” which is the show’s main theme and was produced by Mike Dean. Another song from the album is released “World Class Sinner / I’m A Freak” by show’s cast Lily Rose Depp.

The HBO show is created by The Weeknd, Euphoria director Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim. The series stars The Weeknd himself in the lead role along with Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily Rose Depp. The other cast includes Troye Sivan, Debby Ryan, Rachel Sennott, Steve Zissis and more.

Previously, The Weeknd also teamed up with Future for the first track “Double Fantasy“. The song was produced by Mike Dean, Metro Boomin and Abel himself, which arrived with a music video.
