Drake Appears To Take Shots At Dr. Dre On ICEMAN Song “Make Them Remember”
Drake has fans once again breaking down his lyrics after the release of his new album, ICEMAN. This time, many listeners believe Drake is taking shots at legendary producer and rapper Dr. Dre on the song “Make Them Remember.”
The track was first leaked online on May 14, 2026, before the official album release. At the time, many fans believed the song was part of the leaked “1 AM In Albany” record. However, the official version later appeared on ICEMAN under the title “Make Them Remember.”
The song focuses heavily on themes like betrayal, fake loyalty, isolation, and Drake reflecting on everything that happened during the past year.
One part of the song quickly caught fans’ attention online. Drake raps:
“If Drake took out the AK, maybe he’d be in jail
Just based off the name that it spells
What they say they just smelled?
I heard they got special places in hell
For ni–as jokin’ about evil when they did it themselves.”
As per Genius, Drake is making a reference to Dr. Dre through the “AK” wordplay. Fans online pointed out that if you remove the letters “A” and “K” from Drake’s name, it leaves “Dre.”
Some fans also believe the line about “special places in hell” references past controversies connected to Dr. Dre’s personal life. Social media immediately started debating the lyrics and whether Drake was intentionally calling out the West Coast legend.

The possible diss also has fans connecting the lyrics back to Drake’s 2024 rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. During the beef, Dr. Dre publicly supported Kendrick Lamar and even appeared alongside him during major moments connected to the battle.
Because of that connection, some listeners believe Drake may still be responding to people he feels sided against him during the feud.
