The Game has been prepping the release of his new album for some time now, and today he finally unleashes some new music off it. The Compton rapper link up with Hit-Boy for a brand new single called “Violence”. This follows up his previous offering “Eazy” with Kanye West, which dropped earlier this year. “john madden died but the game right here,” wrote Hit-Boy.

“This is not The Infamy, I’m livin’ through my infamy / Every gunshot is a Bittersweet Symphony / That’s why Hit-Boy brought in the symphony / I hate when ni**as droppin’, so no wonder ya’ll sent for me,” raps The Game.

The Game’s long-awaited new album “Drillmatic – Mind vs Heart” is scheduled to drop on July 1st, with executive production from Hit-Boy informed on Tuesday, June 21 that the project has been postponed once again until July 8. However, in order to appease his fans, he has released a new single from the album named “Violence.”

Throughout 2022, the Game has kept promoting Drillmatic. He’s labeled it the album of the year several times and has continued to proclaim that the 30-track collection would establish him as the GOAT. “I know my album gone be the best album of 2022, ’cause the energy feels like I just signed my deal,” he wrote on Instagram back in May. “You’ve never heard me rap like this, I promise you.”

“When it drops, I promise you that if you put your ear to it you will then understand why I’m the best rapper alive,” he continued. “My controversy has always stepped on my greatness, but that’s all about to change. This album has a strong hold on being the best album of my career.

“It’s just different… the last time I pulled over & wrote in my car was ‘I don’t need your love’ on The Documentary. Only thing is, back then it was a U-Haul. Today I pulled over the G-Wagon on Labrea because I couldn’t believe how dope the shit in my head was.”
