Russ shares the new self-produced song “Can’t Get This Right”.
After announcing it earlier this week, Russ unleashes his brand new song called “Can’t Get This Right”. It is a self-produced track, and the Atlanta rapper samples legendary late Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar’s 1964 classic “Lag Jaa Gale”, which he teased recently on his IG reel.

“Fussin’ and fightin’, we barely gettin’ our worth in / Somethin’ needs changin’, ’cause lately this isn’t workin’ / So many good days, we ruined by all our bad nights / It isn’t you, it isn’t me, we both don’t act right,” he raps.
Before the launch of “Can’t Get This Right,” Russ shared an insight into the creative process behind the song on Instagram. He described it as a behind-the-scenes look at how he comes up with many of his hooks “Behind the scenes process on how I come up with a lotta my hooks, “Get on the mic and just be free with it. If you can just get your brain out of the way and let your soul take the wheel, you usually get to the good stuff.”
