Post Malone Releases New Single Cooped Up Feat. Roddy Ricch

Post Malone enlist Roddy Ricch on new song “Cooped Up”.

After teasing it earlier this week, Post Malone is back with some new material as he teams up with Roddy Ricch for his brand new single “Cooped Up”. This is his first offering of this year, and a follow up to the most recent “One Right Now” with The Weeknd.

The track will appear on his upcoming new album “Twelve Carat Toothache“, which was supposed to drop this month, but pushed back to June 3 release. The album will be his first in three years, a follow up to 2019’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding“.

“And Posty took me on my first damn tour date / He had me rockin’ every night, sold out arenas / I’m project ni**a, I never thought I would see sh*t / I tried to tell you, you prolly wouldn’t believe us,” raps Roddy.

The new track comes after the duo teamed up in 2019 for a remix of “Wow” with Tyga, in which Roddy drops a verse thanking Post for taking him on his “first damn tour date.” The song was included on the album Hollywood’s Bleeding, which also contained the hits “Sunflower” and “Circles,” all of which were produced by Louis Bell, who has worked with Malone since his first mixtape six years ago. The Weeknd and Twelve Carat Toothache collaborated for the first time on the lead song “One Right Now,” which was released near the end of 2021.
