Yo Gotti drops a new song ‘Recession Proof’.
After giving us his ‘Untrapped‘ album back in February, Yo Gotti returns with some new material as he drops a brand new track called ‘Recession Proof‘. It is also his first single as an independent artist after leaving Epic Records.
“Recession Free” also showcases Gotti’s own mogul mindset and uplifts his new, totally independent music label, CMG, which features star-studded signees including 42 Dugg, Blac Youngsta, and Lil Migo, following his departure from Epic Records.
“All my True Hustlers thats gone to figure it out no matter what da fuk da conditions are,” Gotti said in an Instagram post releasing the tune. Gotti, being the busy man that he is, has made multiple cameos on various projects in addition to this, his first solo effort as an independent artist. He most recently appeared on City Girls’ City on Lock and August Alsina’s The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy albums.
