The Weeknd & Doja Cat drops ‘In Your Eyes’ remix.
After hinting it through their social media yesterday, The Weeknd and Doja Cat have joined forces for the official remix of ‘In Your Eyes‘. The original version already has a music video that appeared on The Weeknd’s latest #1 album ‘After Hours‘.
In a series of tweets, the two began not-so-subtly hinting at a partnership. Doja invited her followers to guess which artist she would be working with next, with a list of made-up names including The Weeknd as choices. The Weeknd, for his part, confirmed the collaboration to his followers by reposting Doja’s tweet with the song’s title.
Doja is fresh off her first Hot 100 No. 1 with Nicki Minaj’s “Say So.” The Hot Pink singer detailed how the big duet with Minaj came about in a recent interview with Billboard. “It was a conversation, kind of, for months,” she said.
