Lil Wayne Drops An Old Unreleased Song Ya Dig

Lil Wayne shares the old unheard song “Ya Dig”.

Lil Wayne continues his streak of new music but this time, the New Orleans legend shares an old never heard before track called “Ya Dig“. The song is said to be a “Tha Carter III” cut, which was recorded in 2007-2008. The track samples Margie Joseph’s “Stop! In The Name of Love”, the same tune which was used in Wayne’s song “Gossip”.

Lil Wayne recently teamed up with Rich The Kid for a new joint project called “Trust Fund Babies“, a 9 track album that had no guest appearances. According to Chart Data, the album is expected to move less than 20,000 album-equivalent units in the first week.

Lil Wayne and Cash Money formed Young Money Entertainment, a joint venture label. The rapper began releasing his own songs under this label, as well as cultivating a network of musicians he admired, like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Tunechi made significant advances in his profession and image during this period. Weezy released Tha Carter, Tha Carter II, and Like Father, Like Son over the course of two years, the latter of which was a collaboration with Birdman. All three albums were critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
