Lil Baby & Lil Durk drops a new song “Voice of the Heroes”.
Lil Baby and Lil Durk continue releasing new material as they drop the title track for their upcoming album “Voice of the Heroes“. The duo had been teasing the project for a few months and finally officially announced it last month. The album was supposed to drop last week, but now it is releasing this Friday.
With the sending of identical tweets from Baby and Durk late last month, the long-awaited collaboration endeavour was announced as approaching. Baby stated he and Durk have “more than one album recorded” in an interview with MTV News earlier this year. As is generally known, the idea originated as a fan suggestion, which eventually led to both artists expressing approval for the proposal.
Lil Baby announced the album’s release date last month, but then withdrew the message from social media. At the time, it looked to be a premature announcement. Baby, on the other hand, quickly reposted the identical photograph. Durk followed suit.
During an interview with MTV, Baby stated, “Me and [Lil] Durk been locked in every night. Goddamn, that’s the new one. We coming. Me and [Lil] Durk dropping an album, fa sho.”
He added, “When it comes to that street sh*t, the streets is like, we the voices and the heroes of this shit. You know what I’m saying? Kids look at us like heroes. I know they look at me like one and [Lil] Durk, too. That ni**a been holding it down for a minute.”
The duo also unveiled the Official Cover Art for the project and revealed that it will feature 18 tracks. Watch the new video for the title track below.
