Kodak Black Pays Tribute To XXXtentacion with New Song Falling Over

Kodak Black drops the new song “Falling Over” in memory of XXXtentacion.

On this day (June 18) in 2018, the industry lost the talented rapper XXXtentacion. The Florida rapper who got famous through his viral music on Soundcloud was murdered at 20 after he was fatally shot at a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Kodak Black decided to pay tribute to his late good friend XXXtentacion as he releases a new song called “Falling Over“.

Come alive Jahseh because I need an angel
I know you didn’t know you can die like this
You can die rich and famous
I know you feeling like you doin’ time, my friend
Here we are locked in cages
I hear you can’t even read your rights these days
Feeling like kept and laid up,” raps Kodak.

Last week, Kodak Black celebrated his birthday with the release of the “Happy Birthday Kodak” project. Aside from “Falling Over,” Kodak also released a new video for “Gleerious,” one of the standout tracks off his current album Happy Birthday Kodak. Dyryk, RBP, Max Perry, and Drew Keys produced the tune, which features Kodak expressing his delight for better times, from his significant other to attaining his “Kobe year”.
