Key Glock breaks silence on Young Dolph’s death.
Last week, hip-hop suffered a tragedy as the Memphis native Young Dolph was shot dead in his own hometown. The fellow rappers paid tributes to the “King of Memphis”, and recently his longtime partner Mia Jaye also broke the silence. Now, Young Dolph’s cousin and the member of his label Paper Route Empire also shared an emotional tribute for his “Dum and Dummer” collaborator.
“damn bro, im LOST,” he shared on his IG. “My heart is torn my brain bout to explode it HURTS when I breathe..why you leave me so soon?? I’ll never be the same, you was my lefthand man,my brother,my cousin,my mentor and drank partner for the past 2 years I been taking LOSS AFTER LOSS and still can’t understand why… First, it was my pops then my auntie then my grandma and now YOU!! I know we can’t question GOD but GOD why?! There’s nothing no one can do or say to bring you back and that sh*t just eats me up by the second!! Ni**a you was Phil Jackson and I was yo MJ… Remember I told you I got yo back no matter what?? I GUARANTEE THAT!! Words really can’t explain how I truly feel right now.. I’m sick to my stomach bruh!! Peace ain’t even working.. all I see is DARKNESS, only GOD knows how much you meant to me.”
On Nov. 17, Dolph was tragically murdered while purchasing food at Makeda’s Cookies in Memphis, Tennessee. Surveillance video captured two masked shooters fire rounds into the Black-owned store where the “Preach” rapper was standing. To date, no one has been arrested in connection with Dolph’s death. Authorities did, however, discover the Mercedes used as the getaway car in the shooting in an abandoned residence mere miles from where the “RNB” rapper was shot.
